What are Skin Tags & Moles?
Skin tags and moles are both common skin growths, but they differ in appearance, cause, and potential health risks.
The causes of skin tags and moles differ:

Skin Tags: The exact cause of skin tags is not fully understood, but they often develop in areas of friction or rubbing, such as skin folds or creases. Hormonal changes, genetics, and obesity may also play a role in their development.
Moles: Moles are caused by an accumulation of melanocytes, the cells that produce melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour. They may be present at birth (congenital moles) or develop later in life due to sun exposure, hormonal changes, or genetic factors.

Skin Tag & Mole Treatment
Treatment options for skin tags and moles depend on factors such as size, location, and cosmetic concerns:

Skin Tags: Skin tags can be safely removed by OUR skin specialist through procedures such as electro cauterization (FORIGINEXX) treatment we have in clinic

Moles: Most moles do not require treatment unless they are bothersome, suspicious, or cosmetically undesirable. Suspicious or changing moles should be evaluated by a dermalatologist prior to removal.
