Crepey/Cracked Skin
About Crepey/Cracked Skin
Crepey and cracked skin are common skin concerns, particularly as we age or under certain environmental conditions.
Crepey skin resembles thin, finely wrinkled tissue paper with a slightly loose, saggy quality. This condition typically occurs on areas like the upper inner arms, thighs, chest, and under the eyes, where the skin tends to be more delicate.
Cracked skin, on the other hand, refers to areas where the skin has become so dry and brittle that it breaks, leading to rough, cracked patches, especially common on the hands, feet, and lips.
